The saga continues on the drama deal where the seller didn't want to pay me. Now that the escrow has been closed for 2 weeks they want to have a meeting with me.
Apparently, they originally agreed to settle the inventory after escrow and now the buyer doesn't want to pay. We are going to meet on that today but I think I know where he's going with it, I think he's going to say that because he wasn't happy with the condition of the equipment when he took over he doesn't want to pay on the inventory.
I have agreed to try and help them work it out without lawyers or small claims court. Another problem is that the seller bought another store close to the one he sold, he had permission from the buyers to do that.
The problem is that even though the training period is over the employees of the store run over to the sellers new place 5 times a day with questions and complaints. I have agreed to try and put a stop to that too. I know I'm going over and above what I am suppose to do but this whole thing has been so wrong from day one I just want it to go away.
People let their emotions get in the way of their thinking and lose their objectivity. I will do my best to get everyone to be reasonable and hopefully this will be the last I hear of it.
