This week I spoke with Rosemarie Evans who owns four
Curves franchises in California. Curves is a women's-only gym for women aged 45 and older. And just a note: the picture here is not Rosemarie or a California Curves gym.
Many people's New Year's resolutions include losing weight and getting a better job. January through April is the high season for gym memberships, which makes it a great time to buy a fitness center. When you buy an existing gym for sale, you start to reap the benefits of an established clientele right away.
What I got from Rosemarie is the satisfaction she feels working with other women not just in health and fitness, but in their lives. Curves really fosters a supportive community of women.
