When writing a business for sale ad to sell a business all advertisers should utilize as much text as possible. This is important for many reasons but the primary one is the use of key words that possible business buyers may find your business on.
An example of this is a the search for "Quizno's" - a description a broker used the other day to sell her business on
BizBen.com. When she tried searching for the listing utilizing the key word "Quiznos" it did not appear and she was pretty upset. I explained to her that computers are pretty stupid and if the search term doesn't match as in this case, you won't get the results you are seeking. Make sure you sprinkle the ad with key words where possible viewers will utilize key words.
For the example of a Quizno's Fast Food Restaurant for sale I would utilize the key words: Quizno, Quiznos, Quizno's, fast food, restaurant, franchise, etc throughout the ad copy. Don't put in any unrelated key words to build traffic - they will be edited out you may get kicked out of the site for spamming.
Remember use Key Words that relate to the business you are selling throughout your ad - you'll get better qualified buyers who are looking for that type of business through a Key Word search on websites such as BizBen.com and USABizMart.com.•
