My Search For A Business Continues

My search for a business continues. We recently refinanced our home and we have some capital to spend...but where to spend it, is the question. I have read countless books on starting or buying a business, but nothing seems to trigger any good ideas.
Over the last couple of days, I have thumbed through a number of different business, including but not limited to Tile/Bath, Home Care Services, Auto Repair, Cafes. I am all over the map at times and, even if I find a good business, I am not sure that I have the experience or the knowledge to run it.
Running a small fitness business for the last couple of years has been a great learning experience in terms of a small business, but it has taught me little else. With this said, I am not considering buying a franchise where the system and initial groundwork is done. However, am I just copping out? Giving in to starting my own business or buying an original business and making work? My gut says yes.
For now, I will continue searching for both original business opportunities and franchises. Comments & Advice From Peter:Keep searching all the time, look at online sites, spread the word to as many friends and associates that you are looking to buy a business. By getting pre-qualified for financing you have made a great first step so that way you don't waste time in looking at businesses you don't qualify for both financially and work experience wise!• Technorati • del.icio.us • Digg It • Furl • ma.gnolia • Spurl • Yahoo MyWeb
